Dead Sea is a sea with the highest salinity situated in Israel. It is a salt lake looking across Jordan. It is 1,385ft below the sea level. The Dead Sea is 1,240ft deep having the highest salinity of 210%.The mud of the Dead Sea is supposed to be very healthy and full of vitamins and minerals. The salt of this sea is used for fertilizers, healing purposes and also for various body and cosmetic products. The climate around the sea area is dry and contains very low pollution. This region has reduced the power of the Ultraviolet rays generating a lot of oxygen in the air. The mineral content of the Dead Sea is very different from that of ocean water. It contains chlorides and sulphides to a large extent. The atmospheric pressure around the Dead Sea is high which unknowingly helps in respiratory problems. The water level of the Dead Sea is dropping by about a 30cm (1 foot) per year. People come to bathe in the sun which not only help them get tanned but also protects and cures skin problems. The Dead Sea deserves its name because of the high salt content, the presence of aquatic micro-organisms, aquatic plants and animals and bacteria and fungi. Its called the Dead Sea because actually nothing lives in it.As we go further, the dead sea gets saltier and saltier. The more the depth, the more the salinity is of the Dead Sea. If a fish swimming in the fresh water accidently enters the Dead Sea, it will just not survive and will die instantly. A human being can just manage to float on the water because of its saltiness. The minerals found in the ocean and the Dead Sea are just the same but only in extreme proportions. They are much more real and very useful. This just tells us that nothing goes waste on this earth. The Dead Sea, being so dead that nothing can live in it can also be very useful.
It is the worlds most amazing place to be in. The sun, the beach, the sand and the atmosphere is so amazing that it makes you feel relieved of all the tiredness. The Dead Sea area is sparsely populated and is quieter than the other places in Israel. Along the seaside there are hotels, restaurants, bathing areas, sports complexes etc giving it a very cool and a mindblowing place to hang out and spend time with family members, friends and loved ones.
