Frankfurt, Germany….is a city which is a must visit during October for the "Oktober Fest ".
This festival is full of German people enjoying the taste of BEER from all over the world, and also the local Beer. During this time the climate is absolutely pleasant like the chilly cold breeze flowing around continuously. There are also a lot of tourists there enjoying the festival. The best way to travel through Frankfurt is via bus or tram. There is a pass called as the day pass which can accommodate five people, with this pass you can travel through any bus or any train throughout the city. This country is one of the football crazy country. Try and not to walk into a football bar with angry fans, and speak English or maybe you’d be eating through straws for the next two weeks.
This city is a little heavy on your pockets, here water is expensive than beer. To get a driving license here in Germany is like buying two cars at the same time. There are two types of licenses here, a manual and an automatic one, the manual one is more expensive than the automatic. Hence 70% of the people use public transport.
Frankfurt is basically an industrial area. There is a sale on every Saturday called the ‘Flee-Market’. Here you get products like food, cloths, electronic goods, souvenirs etc… for cheap price. This Flee-Market is held near the river, so there is always an ambience of happiness around, with people enjoying the local food and need some excitement then there are even boat races going on. Don’t miss eating the frankfurter; it is a type of a special delicious hotdog of Germany.
Frankfurt is a must visit place once in a lifetime.
