London, See New Year ticking at the biggest clock.

bb

I bet this is the time of the year when the Big Ben must be extremely pleased to be the biggest clock in London. This is his day. Today when the clock strikes 0:00 AM, London will open its arms to welcome the year 2009! London is one of the most global cities in the world.  London boasts of many new, innovatively constructed buildings and sky scrapers, O2 being considered as one of the largest dome structures in the world. London is one of the major classical and musical capitals of the world. London houses some of the many worth seeing places in the world like the Madame Tussads museum, the Buckingham palace, the tower of London and much more.
New Years Eve at London is not only fun- filled and crazy but has a glamorous tinge to it.  This year after the Big Ben chimes midnight, there would be display of bright fire crackers in the sky for fifteen minutes gesturing the entry of 2009. However this year’s show stopper is going to be Elton john’s party at O2.
If you are among those who are looking for an elaborate dinner on New Years Eve then I bet this is the deal for you.  A restaurant with stunning Thames views and the chance to see the fireworks is Skylon – they’re hosting champagne and canapé reception and a three course gala dinner together with live band into the small hours, priced at £165.
For people who want to have a gala time with friends, over a good game, then the bowling alley at “all stars lanes in brick lane” awaits you for a three course dinner accompanied by beer and wine for just £65.
An opulent river cruise can make this last evening before the year end special for many of us. And the three best cruises here are City Cruises, bateaux London and silver sturgeon.  City cruises one of the best in the turf, offers this package of buffet, music, dance, decorations etc for £195.00 per person including V.A.T. the bateaux  London offers a five course dinner, coffees and chocolates, a stunning 4hr 30 minute ride , costs £235.00 pp.
The best thing about celebrating New Years Eve in any part of London is that in such a beautiful city, even the most simplest of the things like firecrackers, the Thames bridge, would look just so breath-taking that I am sure you will not regret if you do not have any fixed plans.
Enjoy, have a great year ahead!
