Cape Town

Located at the south-western tip of the African continent, Cape Town is one of the most industrially developed and modern cities of South Africa. The water fronts offer here amazing sites for all kinds of water sports like scuba-diving, Para- sailing, surfing and shark-cage-diving and water canoeing on the Breede River. Talking of fear and adrenaline rush, Bloukrans Bridge is the place to be, for the highest commercial bungee-jump in the world!! So if you are into adventure man this is a must visit.

Go to the seal island and see the fishes being fed to the seals or the penguin island to see the exquisite beings there playing around in peace. If you are a golf lover, head to the internationally acclaimed golf courses in the city.

My favorite spot is the Table Bay, a mountain with water on its either sides, from which the whole town of Cape Town can be seen. The view is totally panoramic. The ostrich farm here is truly cool. Apart from being a site for breeding ostriches, they also give you ostrich rides and let you test the strength of its incubated eggs. The Cape of Good Hope offers amazing scenic beauty what with beautiful light houses built in the heart of it. And last but not the least; do visit the prison-cell on the Robben Island where Nelson Mandela, the African-Liberator was exiled. Night life is equally exciting here

Lodging here is absolutely no problem here. From luxury hotels to economic motels, everything is very comfortable. The cuisine here is palpable and correctly cited as a “foodie’s redemption’. Most of the restaurants here offer multi-national, so no problem if you yearn for your own native food.
