Previously called Palestine,it was a home for the Arabs for about 1,400years,before which it was a Jewish and for about 1,700years.

Jerusalem is the capital and the largest city of Israel. In the history of Judaism it is the holiest city, an ancient capital of the united monarchy and then the kingdom of Judah. Hotels, are located every where in the city. There are hotels situated near tourist centres and near areas which make you feel close to nature. There are a few hotels which have very minute and intricate design making the visitors vacation more and more enjoyable and memorable. The King David Hotel Jerusalem is the Israel’s most famous hotel. It just gives a royal feeling to those staying here. This hotel is situated at a point where history and reality come face to face. Famous celebrities and top leaders of the world stay in this royal palace. It is now one among the best hotels in the world which is loacated rightly at a suitable walking distance both, from the old historic Jerusalem and the modern and lively city.

The building consists of two parts, with the last two floors added to the original building and with a different decoration. Original decoration that blends very well with the style of the hotel. Good lighting, sitting area, complimentary fruit and drink on arrival. Large Art Deco marble bathroom with separate toilet and shower. This hotel consists of total 237 rooms. These rooms include a royal and a presidential suite and also 37 luxury rooms. The huge and grand entrance, the sky blue colour pool, the fancy setup of light and decoration , the huge terraces, the fine dinning and the magnificent ballroom are just not enough to describe the beauty of this hotel. Its rooms are huge having every thing needed by any individual; a multi cable Television , electric curtains, a luxurious marble bathroom with private cubicles for the lavatory and shower, a temperature controller, comfortable bedsheets and definitely a beautiful view outside those double gazed windows, Very spacious and the view is just breathtaking. The standards of service are high, traditional, and not disappointing. The food is excellent, especially in ‘La Regence’ restaurant, which is a meat restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast is described as ‘The eighth wonder of the World’ and it is rightly so. The King David is THE place to stay in Jerusalem. It is an exquisite hotel and perfectly situated. King David by all means deserves its royal name. Beyond the luxurious facilities, the personalized service and friendliness of the staff are amazing. In the dining room, the senior staff appear to know the guests by their name. That’s why I would say……
