Kualalumpur Kuala Lampur, the capital city of Malaysia is a well developed city to visit. Well developed transportation, good and well facilitated hotels along with great shopping destinations makes Kuala Lampur a favored tourist destination.

Kuala Lampur has its share of landmarks and places to see. The distinct identity of the city is the Petronas Tower, which is the tallest building. Shopping in Kuala Lampur can be done at four levels of Petronas Tower for some high quality and designer products; the China Town offers cheap stuff such as watches, jeans, bags and trainers The Central Market is synonymous with Malaysian culture where you find ethnic handicrafts and various traditional activities being demonstrated live to the public.

Eating out in Kuala Lampur does not pose a problem at all as you can try out Malay cuisine along with Thai, Chinese and Indian cuisine as well. This is because there are a lot of Indians and Chinese who have made Malaysia their home. The Malay food is well flavoured and prepared in authentic style so that you relish a well made and tasty Malay meal.

While for recreation and leisure, you could always venture out to any of the exotic Malay beaches at Penang or Langkawi. A visit to the Hindu Temple at Batu Caves for which you need to climb 272 steps, can also be planned though you need to be careful of the monkeys which are present in huge numbers.
